April Fye

April Fye joins the Savoy Life team as the Executive RN Care Manager, responsible for designing, implementing, and leading Savoy Life’s nursing care model. With over 20 years of diverse experience, she deeply understands the complex barriers to delivering quality care and the cascading impact they cause across the healthcare landscape.

Ms. Fye began her career working in the acute setting, primarily within the Emergency Department. Next, she facilitated the launch of the home nursing service and hospital at home programs for CareMore Health as a Lead RN Manager, targeting frail and vulnerable seniors. She held the additional roles of Extensivist RN and STARS Program Manager where she identified and developed opportunities to decrease avoidable ER visits and hospital admissions, as well as improve overall experiences. Ms. Fye most recently held the role of Senior Product Manager with Strive Health, providing clinical product design for Primary Care serving Medicare Advantage and Fee for Service populations living with kidney disease.

During her time working in community hospitals through academic Level-1 trauma centers, she witnessed the frequency of poor, and often preventable, outcomes resulting from our nation’s fragmented healthcare system. As a result, she developed a new passion for identifying root-cause opportunities and driving positive, meaningful change. She has since designed, implemented, executed, and managed innovative clinical programs and operational processes, producing optimized quality outcomes and improved patient and employee experience.

In her roles, Ms. Fye has engaged complex stakeholder management with cross-functional teams, senior leaders and business unit owners, community partners, as well as frontline providers and care teams. She has held both direct and matrix leadership roles for high-performing teams, aligning and standardizing through rapid growth and multi-market scaling, including strategic mobile operations throughout the course of the pandemic.

She graduated magna cum laude from Grand Canyon University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, along with multiple clinical nursing certifications. Outside of work, April enjoys hiking with her dog, traveling, and adventure sports.
